Part Time Jobs From Home

Sometimes I get the feeling my friends think my work from home job is all fluff. What's more, they find it hard to believe I only work part time. Believe it of not, I do actually work, and yes, it is part time. I don't work for anyone - just myself. It's tough sometimes to get rolling on a project, but I wouldn't trade my schedule for a full time job any time soon!

I have come to the realization that, given today's job market situation, part time jobs from home are in high demand. Whatever the situation: hour reduction at your 9-5 job, the need for extra cash, or just something to do in the afternoon, a part time job may be what the Dr. ordered.

From accounting to virtual assistant jobs, you can find a part time job that can be done at home, practically all online. First things first, though. Evaluate your needs and your skills. Why do you want to work at home? Will you be happy working part time? What do you want to do? What are you able to do? What talents do you have? The next step: find that job. But where? Not too many companies will advertise their need for part timers to work at home via the traditional methods. No fear, Here is a (condensed) list of different work from home part time jobs for you. Home Jobs Are For Men, Too

I was recently asked the following questions:
Are work at home jobs only for women? Are there any legitimate sites out there for men to a find work from home job?
At first I was a bit shocked that anyone would ask these questions; my thoughts were "why would anyone think work at home jobs are only for women". Then it hit me: so many websites on the topic of work at home are geared towards women. While there are many, many MANY websites on this topic, my recent research suggests that the majority of them are mainly run by, and frequented by...(drum roll)...women.

Now, I know that there are many men out there who seek a legitimate work from home job. And, they seek these jobs as no fee, no charge, no scam. Just as women do. So why are there so many sites on this topic that seem to be made for women? Why does it seem that most of the participants are women?

Here's my theory: Women are traditionally the ones who stay home with the kids. So it stands to reason that women are the ones who seek work at home jobs - so they can continue to stay home with their kids. As a result, women are the ones who start the work at home websites, to aid other women who are in their like mind. Today, however, more men are at home with the kids - or just 'at home'. For whatever reason, men are seeking legitimate work from home jobs more now then ever before. For this reason, they stumble upon the many work at home sites created by, run by, and frequented by women. A prime example is this site: http://www.ewomanweb.com. Notice the name - eWomanWeb.com. Run by a woman, and geared towards women. However, it is suitable for both men and women due to the variety of jobs and ideas.

In all honesty, work from home jobs are not gender specific. Women AND men can work from home in virtually any category. It just so happens that a ton of the work from home jobs touted out there are in the customer service, cosmetic and diet product sales, arts & crafts, virtual assistant, and other fields that have a more feminine feel. That being said, there are just as many home based jobs that have a more masculine feel, such as in the computer related field. But, and I mean a big but, all work from home jobs can be for everyone. What's wrong with a man selling weight loss products? What's wrong with a man working in the customer service industry? Absolutely nothing. In fact, I know of a gentleman who owns and operates his own work from home resource: money making ideas, a blog that discusses several ways to earn money at home. You see...regardless of your gender, money can be made at home. The key is to find a website that has a large variety of home jobs, just as in the home job website indicated above. So don't be shy, all you home-work-seeking-men. If, during your internet search, you come upon a website that looks as though it may offer some insight into a home based job, feel free to participate in the online forums, peruse the site, and find your home job.

Find a Legitimate Work From Home Job Utilizing Work From Home Job Banks

It is a daunting task to find a legitimate work from home job. So much so that many people either give up the search or spend a small fortune on many so-called work at home opportunities.

I have been studying the concept of subscription based home job location services. AKA, home job bank. In a nutshell, you pay a small annual fee (typically around $15.00 - $20.00 per year) for someone else to do the research involved in finding a legit. work from home job. Now, keep in mind that I never advocate paying to work. In the case of subscription based home job locators, you are not paying to work. You pay for the service to locate work for you. This is a legitimate way to spend a few bucks to find legitimate work from home jobs.

The main purpose of a this type of service is provide you with leads to work at home jobs that you may not be able to locate on your own, or do not have the time to locate. As you probably already know, work from home jobs get snatched-up quickly - there is so much competition within this world. Such job information is typically floating around the internet in so many formats that there is redundancy in this arena. Subscription based services don't have as much competition due to the fact their jobs are updated frequently. Once you pay for your subscription, you can begin the search for jobs.

So where do these services get the job leads? They are often operated by individuals who have been in the Human Resourse field for many years, therefore they have inside knowledge with reputable companies seeking home workers. They create a database of different categories and your membership allows you to search for a legit. home job. And, as an added measure of sincerity, the good ones screen each job before it is added to their database. They even promise no pyramid or other schemes. All that being said...just remember to keep your wits about you. While I like these job services, some are more reliable than others.

Here are two of the best subscription based home job services:
